Smitch is a smart home automation company based in India. Their aim to be the leading smart home product brand in the country by selling their smart products while also enabling smart functionality for other appliance and non-smart product manufacturers with their technology
The client approached us to help with branding and positioning their brand as one that is approachable, technically sound but at the same time easy to use. The challenge we faced from the beginning was, creating a visual identity that conveyed the message of a connected world to users who might have never heard of smart home products. We decided to simplify the identity by using basic shapes to convey the meaning with ease.
The brand was built around the core principle of Smitch enabling all users to be connected at all times. The logo has a circle and connectors on either side depicting a connected world forming an ’S’.
