To create an engaging, user-friendly platform where users can easily find and book photographers for various occasions across South East Asia. The design needed to be fun, colorful, and reflect the joy of capturing memorable moments.
The user research phase involved conducting surveys and interviews with potential users to understand their needs and preferences when booking photographers. Competitive analysis was also performed to identify gaps in the market. Personas were created based on the research, and user journeys were mapped out to ensure a seamless booking experience.
The design concept was centered around joy and celebration. The goal was to create a vibrant, playful interface that would evoke happiness and excitement, making the process of finding and booking a photographer as enjoyable as the occasions themselves. The design needed to be intuitive, minimizing the effort required to navigate and use the platform.
The color palette includes warm, inviting tones of orange and pink, complemented by calming blues and greens. These colors were chosen to convey a sense of joy and creativity while maintaining a professional feel. Gradients and lighter tints were used to add depth and a modern touch.
The design features three fonts: League Spartan, Poppins, and Rolasand. League Spartan is used for headers, offering a bold, modern look that grabs attention. Poppins is chosen for body text due to its clarity and readability, ensuring a smooth reading experience. Rolasand, a handwritten font, adds a personal, playful touch to accent text. This combination creates an engaging and joyful visual style, perfect for the KaChick platform.
The design excels in creating an engaging user experience through its use of vibrant colors and playful typography, which immediately draw users in and create a positive emotional response. The clean, intuitive layout ensures that users can easily navigate the platform, find the perfect photographer, and book their shoot with minimal effort. Additionally, the thoughtful incorporation of user feedback and research findings ensures that the platform meets the needs and expectations of its target audience, ultimately increasing user satisfaction and engagement.
